I will overwhelm 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.

Former twice unified title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's biggest money-making draws, regularly earning huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
